Our team

Nate is one of the owners, a Certified Dental Technician, and the driving force here at WDL. He has been working in the lab since he was just 11 years old. Over the past 20+ years he has grown to become the county’s specialist for cosmetic work and complex cases. He spends his time outside of the lab adventuring with his family and working on outdoor projects.

Rick began his lab career in 1974, and opened WDL shortly after. Although he is enjoying semi-retirement, you can still find him at the lab contributing to the caseload and mentoring the staff. Born & raised in Whatcom County, he is active in his church and thrives sharing the gospel and making a backyard paradise for his grandkids

Deanna is the one who really runs the show around here. She has been WDL’s office manager since 2018. She is the secret sauce that makes WDL work seamlessly and successfully. This Whatcom County gal enjoys going on roadtrips and other adventures with her friends, and spending time with her close-knit family.

Aline is our newest addition. She is getting her hands dirty in our model room. Born and raised in Bellingham she spends her free time with her husband, shopping, or stopping at a local boba spot.

Andrey recently moved from Chicago to join our team. He is originally from Ukraine, and has been a dental tech for over 34 years. Andrey spends almost all his free time with his family; his wife Lyudmila, daughter Varvara and cat Urra. They draw, read, listen to and play music, play games, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Anna is a Washington local who is beginning her career in dental technology. She joined our team in 2023 and is assisting in our CAD/CAM department. Anna loves being in nature, working on her creative hobbies, and playing with her cat.

Brady has been in the industry for more than 30 years. He is a PNW local. When he’s not at the lab you can find him spending time outside with his family.

Brian is our milling and printing guru here at WDL Originally from Orange County California, he has long since settled here in Whatcom County. You will find him reading books and playing video games in his free time

Chris is one of our skilled ceramists here at WDL. He has been a dental technician since 2013 and works on cosmetic restorations as well as hybrid cases. Originally from Denver Colorado, he moved to the PNW and joined the WDL team. When not making teeth at the lab, he instead creates art, music, and chills with his two cats and dog Cujo.

Emma has been with us since early 2025. She works behind the scenes to help things run smooth. As a Bellingham local she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and sculpting.

Jessica, our in-house bookkeeper, has been assisting small businesses in our community since 2014. She is originally from Bellevue, WA but now lives with her family on a hobby farm in Ferndale. She gets joy from being outdoors with her husband and two children and enjoys hunkering down to read or make lists.

Kevin is our lead denture technician and department manager. He brings over 30 years of removables experience to the team. He is from Burlington and enjoys spending time in nature.

Logan joined WDL in mid 2025. He works on scanning, uploading, and designing cases. In his free time he is chilling inside watching TV with his wife or staying active through golf, pickleball, and basketball.

Ryan joined WDL back in 2004. Over the years he has worked his way up in the lab and now is our specialist for traditional fixed metal framework cases. Him and his wife spend their time outdoors or watching movies together.

Shannon worked as WDL’s model room lead for over 6 years. She is now working on the other side of the lab in the removables department. She is happiest in life when snuggling with her pup (and her husband too of course).

Steve began his dental career almost 30 years ago. He began as our resident gold specialist and now manages WDL’s Mt.Vernon lab as well. Steve is also a Certified Dental Technician. Being outdoors with his family, and volunteering with youth sports are his activities of choice.

Todd has been on our team since 2002. He now focuses his skills on CAD/CAM and ceramic work. He is a Whatcom County native and enjoys his time spent outside of the lab with his wife and two children.
